Carlisle United are looking to keep a tight grip on second this weekend with the club battling with Stevenage each week to get into the automatic playoffs spot as the club heads on the road to meet with Swindon Town.
It's been a sensational return to form over the past month for Carlisle ever since their damning loss to Mansfield Town at Brunton Park midway through February. The club have since gone on to defeat Colchester United back at home, before then smashing Crawley Town away from home in a 5-2 display that saw five different goalscorers get in on the act.
The Cumbrians then went on to beat Grimsby Town last weekend and have now moved up into second once more - they've moved between third and second every week for a month now.
They are sitting one point above Stevenage in third ahead of this one, as both clubs have lost seven times and won 17 games each. The Cumbrians have played one more game, however, and a draw in that one sees them above the third-placed side. On the other hand, Carlisle and Stevenage are set to meet one another next weekend in what is likely set to be the biggest game of the season for either team.
Swindon drew 1-1 with the league leaders Leyton Orient last time out and now come into this one with an unbeaten run of three games since losing three in a row to Newport County, Doncaster Rovers and Sutton United. They've since beaten Salford City away from home, Harrogate back on their own patch and drawn with Orient last weekend. The club are far from considered out of this playoff race with them now down in 11th and behind Salford City in seventh by seven points but with two games in hand to play.
