Tranmere Rovers welcome Stockport to Prenton Park this Saturday in League Two. Stockport are looking to extend their lead at the top of the table whereas Tranmere are stuck in the bottom half of the table.

In their last five games in all competitions, Tranmere have one win, one draw and three losses.

Alex Gilbey opened the scoring for MK Dons in the ninth minute but Kieron Morris equalised within three minutes. However, Ellis Harrison grabbed a goal in the 96th minute to give MK Dons the 2 - 1 win. Tranmere bounced back next time out against Grimsby Town. Rob Apter gave Tranmere the 1 - 0 lead but Doug Tharme equalised to make it level at halftime. An own goal from Toby Mullarkey was enough to give Tranmere the 2 - 1 win.

Tranmere were unable to register a single shot on target against Crewe, though Crewe could only manage one shot on target themselves as the game finished a 0 - 0 draw. Joe Ironside gave Doncaster the 1 - 0 lead at halftime but Joshua Stuart Hawkes equalised on the 60 minute mark. However, Hakeeb Adelakun grabbed the winner for Doncaster as they secured the 2 - 1 win.

The last time out for Tranmere was against Morecambe. A goal from Apter and a penalty gave Tranmere the 2 - 0 lead before the ten minute mark. Stockport, on the other hand, currently sit top of the League Two table. In 31 games, Stockport have 18 wins, seven draws and six losses which leaves them on 61 points, one point above second place Mansfield Town.

Akil Wright gave Stockport the lead in the second minute of the first half added time but Douglas James-Taylor equalised just two minutes later. However, a goal from Isaac Olaofe and a penalty from Paddy Madden gave Stockport the 3 - 1 win. A brace from Madden and goals from Connor Lemonheigh-Evans and Olaofe along with an own goal from Owen Bailey gave Stockport the 5 - 0 lead early in the second half. Harrison Biggins’ goal was merely a consolation as Stockport held on for a 5 - 1 win.

Dean Cornelius opened the scoring for Harrogate Town but Lemonheigh-Evans equalised before halftime. Despite having 20 shots with six on target, Stockport could not find the winner and settled for the 1 - 1 draw. Antoni Sarcevic, Olaofe and Lewis Cass gave Stockport the 3 - 0 lead at halftime.
