Walsall vs. Doncaster Prediction, Tips & Stats

Two mid-table sides meet in League Two this weekend as Walsall meet Doncaster Rovers on Monday.

Walsall currently sit 17th in League Two with eleven wins, nineteen draws and fifteen losses from forty-five games this season.

The Saddlers have had an up and down season form-wise but it's fizzled out into insignificance in the last few months having had an abysmal second half of the season, winning just one of their last twenty-three matches.

They enter this game in poor form having drawn one and lost three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw at Crawley Town.

Walsall haven't won in their last nine matches and a lot needs to be addressed over the summer to ensure they do not continue the next campaign where they're set to finish this one at.

They're playing a very beatable opponent here and should be determined to give their loyal fans something to cheer about.

Doncaster Rovers currently sit 16th in League Two with sixteen wins, seven draws and twenty-two losses from forty-three games this season.

It's been a wholly unremarkable season for Doncaster who've failed to look like anything more than a mid-table side, and they could potentially finish this season as low as 18th which would represent an awful campaign for the Yorkshire club.

They enter this game in poor form overall having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games, but having beaten Colchester United 1-0 in their most recent game they can come into this game with a reasonable amount of confidence.

Their form away from home has been poor, however, having failed to win any of their last seven games on the road.

Doncaster were beaten 0-2 by Walsall when the two sides met back in December so they'll want to get one back here, and despite not being in great form themselves they will see Walsall as a team ready to be toppled.

For our Walsall vs. Doncaster prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
