PSG vs. Ajaccio Prediction, Tips & Stats

Paris Saint-Germain look to take another step towards the Ligue 1 title as they face a virtually relegated Ajaccio side this weekend.

PSG currently sit top of Ligue 1 with twenty-five wins, three draws and six losses from thirty-four games this season.

The Paris club have had an almost embarrassing season despite being on the verge of the league title having once again, despite boasting arguably the most talented squad in the club's history, fallen apart in the Champions League.

PSG have been the subject of much off-field turmoil this season, an entirely characteristic aspect of the club these days, with many of their major stars expressing dissatisfaction with their position at the club with fans often angered by their supposed lack of commitment, as can be seen by incensed fans gathering outside of the homes of Neymar and Lionel Messi to express their dissatisfaction with the two megastars.

They enter this game in good form having won four of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 3-1 win away at Troyes.

PSG need just two more wins to seal the title given their goal difference, and given the ease of their run-in in terms of fixture difficulty that should not be an issue.

Whatever happens from here fans will be wholly unhappy with their club's performance this season and the club is in line for a major rebuild over the summer.

Ajaccio currently sit 18th in Ligue 1 with six wins, five draws and twenty-three losses from thirty-four games this season.

It's been a long, hard season for Ajaccio who've had a dismal campaign having spent almost the entire season in the relegation zone with their inevitable fate in the verge of being mathematically confirmed.

They enter this game in poor form having failed to win any of their last nine matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw at home to Toulouse.

Ajaccio were beaten 0-3 by PSG when the two sides met back in October and there's little hope that this result will be any better.

Ajaccio are eleven points shy of safety with four games remaining so relegation at this point is assured.

They'll look to end the season in a prideful manner but they're not likely to take anything from this ga,e

For our PSG vs. Ajaccio prediction, we're going for a 3-0 win for the home side.
