Reims continue their quest for a top half finish in Ligue 1 as they face already relegated Angers this weekend.
Reims currently sit 11th in Ligue 1 with twelve wins, fourteen draws and nine losses from thirty-five games this season.
It's been a very successful campaign for Reims who've been one of the league surprise packages under the guidance of their rookie manager.
Their form has slowed down dramatically in recent weeks, though, having now lost four of their last five matches with their much applauded nineteen-match unbeaten run in the league now a distant memory.
Their most recent game saw them slump to a 2-1 defeat away at Lens, a result that was not unexpected given their opponent's league position.
Top scorer Folarin Balogun notched a goal from the penalty spot in that game but the Arsenal loanee is now six games without a goal in open play having scored only twice in his last twelve excluding penalties.
Reims' form at home is slightly better with Will Still's side having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games on home soil.
Still's side should find themselves back in the win column here as they face a tragic side who've been relegated without a whimper.
Angers are currently rock bottom of Ligue 1 with three wins, five draws and twenty-seven losses from thirty-five games this season.
It's been a woeful season for the Ligue 1 side who have accumulatively a measly fourteen points and are currently a whopping twenty points shy of safety.
They've been relegated without so much as putting up a fight and they don't seem intent on salvaging much pride in the final weeks of the season as they enter this game having lost their last five consecutive matches.
Most recently, Angers succumbed to a 3-1 defeat away at Marseille, a result that can be excused given Marseille's quality.
Their form away from home is equally poor with Angers winless in their last thirteen on the road having lost their last five on the bounce.
Angers were comfortably beaten 2-4 by Reims when the two sides met back in August and it seems likely they'll fall to defeat again here.
For our Reims vs. Angers prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
