Lille are hoping to confirm their place in next season's Europa League as they face Troyes on the final day of the Ligue 1 season this weekend.
Troyes currently sit 18th in Ligue 1 with four wins, eleven draws and twenty-two losses from thirty-seven games this season.
As can be seen by their record it's been a grim season for a Troyes side that will find themselves splaying Ligue 2 football next season - and deservedly so.
They're coming into this game in typically poor form having lost four of their last five matches, a run that means they're now twenty games without a win in the league.
Their most recent defeat saw them fall to a 2-1 loss at bottom place Angers, a result that rubs salt into the wound of relegation.
Their form at home isn't much stronger either as they come into this game having lost three of their last four on home soil.
All in all Troyes will be glad to see the back of this campaign and the only thing they can do here is try to salvage some pride by giving their fans something to cheer about.
Lille currently sit 4th in Ligue 1 with nineteen wins, nine draws and nine losses from thirty-seven games this season.
The French club have had a commendable campaign this time around and are looking to seal qualification to next season's Europa League group stages by holding on to their 4th place spot.
They enter this game in good form having won two and drawn one of their last three games, having also won three of their last five, so optimism that they can get the three points they need is fairly high.
Their most recent game saw them claim a 2-1 win over Nantes, a result that marked their second win on the bounce.
There is, however, much concern around their form away from home having failed to win any of their last four games on the road.
They can at least take comfort from the fact they hammered Troyes 5-1 when the two sides met back in January so they know they match up well with their opponents.
Despite their unconvincing away form Lille are facing a legitimately poor side here so they should get the job done and secure 4th place.
They do need to win, though, as Rennes are just one point behind them in 5th.
For our Troyes vs. Lille prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the away side.
