Atlanta United vs Orlando City Prediction, Tips & Stats

A huge game in the Eastern Conference playoff spots takes place this weekend with Atlanta United welcoming Orlando City to Georgia with both sides right by one another in the table.

Atlanta were beaten 2-1 by New England Revolution during the week, as Marchel Chopp scored for the away side. They did, however, register their 41st goal in the process, and only Columbus Crew have scored more than them. Atlanta have let in 37, however, and have kept only four clean sheets this season.

As for Orlando, they followed up their 4-0 hammering over Toronto with a 4-0 battering at the hands of Real Salt Lake. They now sit behind Atlanta in the table by one place and one point.

Tyler Wolff to score is boosted to 3/1 - Wolff has scored five goals across his last 11 matches including in the last head-to-head match between these two sides. 2+ shots on target each team in each half is also up at 11/2 and Orlando City to win and both teams to score is priced at 6/1, while Facundo Torres to score 2+ goals is up at 28/1 Torres has scored two braces in his last seven matches and is the club's top scorer.

          Orlando City team news

After beating Toronto 4-0 and then losing 4-0 Real Salt Lake 4-0, we expect to see changes to Orlando's team. Ercan Kara should come into the side here instead of McGuire. Martin Ojeda may also come onto the side here up top, with Angulo set to dropnout. Pereyra and Torres should also stay in the forward lines with Araujo and Cartagena set to come into the midfield. Dagur Dan Borhallsson will likely come into the team too with Felipe Martins. Santos, Jansson, Carlos and Smith are likely to start in defence as well.

          Atlanta team news

Atlanta were in midweek action, so we likely see some changes here. Osvaldo Alonso likely comes into the team now for Sejdic, after his poor display against the Reves. Sosa, Lennon and Wiley likely remain, however. Abram, Sanchez and Hernandez should remain in the defence, although Noah Cobb is back from injury now. Edwin Mosquera came on and got booked in the last outing, and Matheus Rossetto and Derrick Etienne Jr. may also get more minutes. Miguel Berry, Tiago Almada and Wolff should remain in the front three once more, as Brad Guzan remains in goal.
