FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution Prediction, Tips & Stats

FC Cincinnati are looking to build on their excellent season thus far as they lock horns with New England Revolution in a top of the table clash in MLS this weekend.

FC Cincinnati currently sit top of MLS's Eastern Conference with thirteen wins, four draws and two losses from nineteen games so far this season.

It's been an outstanding campaign for Cincinnati in MLS thus far who are flying at the top of the Easter Conference as they find themselves seven points clear of this weekend's opponents in 2nd.

They're coming into this game in good form overall having won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five matches, but there could be some concern coming into this game given the manner of their most recent defeat.

Cincinnati's most recent game saw them face D.C. United away from home in a game that resulted in a resounding 3-0 hammering by Wayne Rooney's men.

Cincinnati have been excellent this season and are allowed a slip up, but they'll have to hope it doesn't affect them here as they come into a huge game.

Thankfully for them their form at home has been faultless with Cincinnati winning each of their last five consecutive matches on home soil having kept three clean sheets in their last four games.

All in all this one looks like a mouthwatering clash and with home advantage on their side Cincinnati fans will feel confident coming into this game.

New England Revolution currently sit 2nd in MLS's Eastern Conference with ten wins, three draws and six losses from nineteen games this season.

Like their opponents, New England have has a fantastic campaign up until this point and they'll be hoping to maintain their exploits at a steady rate ahead of what they hope will be a hugely successful postseason.

They're coming into this game amidst a strong run of form, unbeaten in their last five matches having won their last three on the bounce.

New England's latest outing saw them beat Toronto 2-1 after falling 1-0 behind early on.

However, New England will be concerned at their poor away from as they prepare to head to arguably the toughest venue in MLS having failed to win any of their last four games on the road, drawing two and losing two of those.

Cincinnati won the first-ever competitive meeting between these two but New England have gone unbeaten in each of the following seven, winning five and drawing two, so they can at least be comforted by a superior head-to-head record.

Either way, the form table strongly suggests that this will be a very tough game for New England to take three points from but MLS has a habit of throwing up shock results.

For our FC Cincinnati vs. New England Revolution prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
