Dallas vs LAFC Prediction, Tips & Stats

Los Angeles FC head into their trip to Dallas after suffering another loss last time out with the Texas outfit moving further down the Western Conference table after also suffering another defeat in a Texas derby.

It was the second defeat in a row for Dallas when they also lost to Portland Timbers on the road where they had just two shots on target. The club also lost to Austin last time out and that now means they sit just one point above their Texas rivals and have moved down into seventh in the table.

LAFC lost to Vancouver at home last Sunday, but Denis Bouanga and Carlos Vela did get another goal each that day. Nevertheless, with a game in hand still over St. Louis City at the top of the Western Conference, they can still head to that top of the table if they can return to winning ways.

Denis Bouanga to score is boosted to 13/8 and Bouanga has 11 goals in 16 games this season, taking him to second in the MLS leading scorers list.

Carlos Vela to score is also priced at 3/1 after Vela scored in his last game and has 2 goals in 3 MLS matches. 2+ shots on target each team in each half is boosted to 6/1 as well with Los Angeles FC to win 2-1 at 11/1.

            LAFC team news

Carlos Vela will start here once more for LAFC after his goal in the defeat to Vancouver. Denis Bouanga also scored for them that day and he should start here too with there also set to be late fitness test for Biuk. Cifuentes and Crisostomo are likely to start here in midfield, although Bogusz came off in the defeat to Vancouver. Timothy Tillman should start now with the injuries elsewhere, and we could see Giorgio Chiellini start here once more after he missed the last outing. Kwadwo Opoku may also get some more minutes and McCarthy should also start in goal instead of Eldin Jakupovic. Christian Torres is also likely to get more minutes at some stage.

            Dallas team news

Dallas suffered their worst defeat of the season last time out against Austin so there could be changes to the side here. Gyasi Zardes stole the show with a goal that day and he will start alongside Sebastian Driussi. Ethan Finlay and Diego Fagundez also bagged from midfield and will start in the usuall midfield that involves Daniel Pereira and Wolff. Emiliano Rigoni may also get some more minutes with Hector Jimenez also expected off the bench. Kipp Keller could start in this one with Radovanovic set to face a late fitness test.
