Wayne Rooney's D.C. United is back in action this weekend with a meeting in Washington with Inter Miami as the club sits bottom of the MLS Eastern Conference table after a terrible run of form since the start of the campaign.
Miami have already gone through one manager after the sacking of Phil Neville, but things are looking positive for the Florida side at the moment after moving out of the losing column recently ahead of a debut for the legendary Lionel Messi.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner officially side for Miami a few weeks ago after the conclusion of the Ligue 1 season where he won the title with Paris Saint-Germain once again. However, he is yet to play for the MLS side, and it doesn't look as if we will see him this weekend.
Miami are sitting with two draws on the table now from the 20 games after a 2-2 draw with Columbus Crew. This extended their winless run to four games sine beating Birmingham Legion in the U.S. Open Cup quarter-finals, as the club has gone on to lose to New England Revolution and Philadelphia union alongside draws with Austin and Columbus.
As for D.C. United, they are sitting 12 points ahead of Inter Miami before this one and are in eighth after loss to Nashville last weekend before defeating Dallas in Texas in the last outing - Taxiarchis Fountas continued his good form this season with another goal. D.C. also beat Cincinnati three weeks ago in what was just the second loss in all competitions for the overall leaders in MLS.
Christian Benteke to score first is boosted to 5/1 and he is 1/1 to score anytime - Benteke is United's top scorer this season with eight goals and he sits five behind Hany Mukhtar at the top of the top scorers list. 2+ shots on target each team in each half is also up at 6/1 from 4/1, while D.C. just to win is priced at 1/2, despite the hige gap in form and on the table.
