We have a fun game from MLS this weekend as Charlotte FC make the trip to Canada to take on CF Montréal.
Montréal currently sit 9th in MLS's Eastern Conference with eight wins, two draws and eleven losses from twenty-one games this season.
The Canadian side have had a fairly middling campaign thus far as they sit eight points shy of the top seven places, a gap they will consider far too big at this stage.
They're coming into this game out of form having failed to win any of their last three matches, drawing one and losing two of them.
Both of their last two matches have ended in defeat so they need to put a stop to this run before it becomes even more concerning.
Their form at home has been mixed of late too, with Montréal winning three and losing two of their last five games at home with their two most recent defeats both occurring on home soil.
This is an interesting matchup and one that Montréal need to win if they are to start to make a serious push to qualify for the Final Series automatically.
This will be a close encounter and is tough to call.
Charlotte currently sit 12th in MLS's Eastern Conference with six wins, eight draws and eight losses from twenty-two games this season.
Like their opponents Charlotte have had a mediocre, but not unexpectedly so, campaign thus far as they start to fall further and further adrift of the top seven places in the Eastern Conference.
They enter this encounter in poor form overall having gone seven games without a win, drawing their last five on the bounce.
Their most recent game saw them held to a 2-2 draw at home to Cincinnati, a game in which Charlotte surrendered a 2-0 lead.
Their form away from home has been pretty poor too, with Charlotte drawing two and losing two of their last four matches on the road.
These two sides have met three times in their history, all within the last fourteen months, and Charlotte have failed to win any of those meetings with Montréal winning two and drawing one of those.
Charlotte are in need of a win here and while they're the clear underdogs for this game Montréal's shaky form makes them beatable, even if their own form is not where they'd like it to be.
For our Montréal vs. Charlotte prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.
