Orlando City are set to square off with Chicago Fire in MLS this weekend in what should be an interesting encounter.
Orlando City currently sit 7th in MLS's Eastern Conference with seven wins, seven draws and five losses from nineteen games this season.
It's been a fairly solid season for Orlando thus far as they find themselves firmly inside the play-off spots with a game in hand over a number of the sides below them.
They're coming into this game amidst a mixed run of form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw away at Seattle Sounders.
Worryingly for Orlando the draw at Seattle was their third game without a win, and they'll be hoping this is brief blip as opposed to a concerning trend.
Their home form is not bad but they've not been pulling up trees on their own patch either, as they come into this game having won two and drawn three of their last five games on home soil with only one of their last four ending in victory.
Orlando are in need of three points here in order to get back on track and arrest their brief winless run. It's a game they should win but given their form nothing is assured.
Chicago Fire currently sit 12th in MLS's Easter Conference with five wins, eight draws and six losses form nineteen games this season.
It's been a fair up and down season for Chicago thus far but overall they've underwhelmed as they find themselves just four points head of Toronto who are second to bottom of the table.
They enter this game in mixed form overall having won two and lost three of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 1-0 win away at Sporting KC.
The win at Sporting KC marked their second win on the bounce, so despite losing their three prior games they will feel like they've turned a corner in terms of their form.
They'll be very encouraged by their form away from home, too, given they've lost only one of their last five games on the road and both of their last two wins have also come on the road.
Chicago are winless in their last three games against Orlando having drawn one and lost two of them so they'll be determined to get one back here.
Orlando is a tough place to go but given their recent exploits away from home Chicago will be confident they can get a solid result here.
For our Orlando City vs. Chicago Fire prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
