Brighton head into Saturday's clash with Liverpool on the back of three wins from their last four in the Premier League. The Seagulls have had more time to prepare for this game as their opponents were busy thrashing Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Nine of Brighton's last 11 league games have failed to produce more than two goals, so we're not predicting a goal-fest at the AmEx this weekend. The Seagulls have drawn 10 times in the Premier League this season, eight of which saw both teams score, six ended 1-1 and six were played out at the AmEx.
Brighton have a decent home record against Liverpool over the last few seasons, only losing one of the pair's last six meetings on the south coast, five of which have seen both teams score.
Liverpool are without a win in their last two outings in the Premier League, and three of their last five games have produced under 2.5 goals. Both teams have scored in seven of the Reds' last nine league games, and we are expecting both teams to find the back of the net on Saturday.
The visitors have played out seven draws in the Premier League so far this season, five of which ended with both teams scoring, and three finished with scorelines of one goal apiece.
Brighton 1-1 Liverpool
