Newcastle make the lengthy trip down to the AMEX for the late kick off on Saturday with Brighton & Hove Albion aiming to move on swiftly from their stunning loss to West Ham United at home last time out.
Brighton were expected to steamroll past the Hammers last time out, but a stunning display from James Ward-Prowse once again helped give West Ham a 3-0 lead until Pascal Gross made it 3-1.
This did, however, come after two 4-1 wins in a row for the Seagulls where they won their other home game by defeating Luton Town with a goal from Solly March in the first half before a goal each from Joao Pedro, Simon Adringa and Evan Ferguson.
Brighton would record their first away victory with a Goal of the Season contender from Kaoru Mitoma, a finish from Pervis Estupinan and a brace within four minutes during the second half from Solly March.
As for Newcastle, it's been a tough start to the season after a sensational campaign last time out that saw them get into the top four for the first time in almost 20 years. They have, however, had to travel to Manchester City and play hosts to Liverpool, and despite putting up a good fight against City, the club would go on to lose 1-0 at the home of the champions.
However, it was their loss to Liverpool that has rocketed fans into a bit of concern this season. Newcastle led the game 1-0 for the majority of the game after a finish from Anthony Gordon, and with Virgil van Dijk receiving his marching orders, there was no reason why Eddie Howe's men should have let the lead slip.
Darwin Nunez would head into the game late on and score a brace inside 15 minutes at the end of the second half to steal all three points in a stunning smash n' grab from the Reds.
It's now just one goal scored, no points and three goals let in during the past two games since that stunning win over Aston Villa.
