Burnley face Fulham this weekend in desperate need of a win as the two sides lock horns in a Premier League fixture.
Burnley currently sit 19th in the Premier League with three wins, three draws and sixteen losses from twenty-two games this season.
The Clarets' induction to life back in the Premier League has been particularly difficult as they find themselves well short of the level they would have expected of themselves coming into the season.
Their form has been woeful, as they come into this one winless in their last five games in all competitions having lost four of those.
Their most recent game saw them fall to a resounding 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, a not-at-all-surprising result given it's arguably the toughest fixture in the Premier League calendar.
Defeats against Manchester City are unlikely to decide the fate of a relegation contender but Burnley are no desperately searching for three points having dropped to now being seven points shy of safety having played a game more than Luton Town in 17th.
Vincent Kompany's side don't even have good home form to fall back on either, with the Clarets having won just one game at Turf Moor all season.
Things are looking bleak for Burnley but they're by no means done and dusted yet. They do, though, desperately need to start picking up wins and given they beat Fulham 2-0 when the two sides met back in December they'll feel like this is one they can take three points from.
Fulham currently sit 12th in the Premier League with seven wins, four draws and eleven losses form twenty-two games this season.
The Cottagers are having a solid but middling campaign so far this season, which all in all has to be classed as a success given many tipped them to struggle after losing their top scorer in the summer without (seemingly) replacing him adequately.
Marco Silva's side are, though, currently amidst a dip in form as they enter this game winless in their last five games in all competitions, losing three of those.
Even in the league they've been struggling, as they come into this one having won just one of their last Premier League matches.
Away from home the Cottagers have been dismal, with Silva's men having failed to win any of their last ten league games on the road, losing all of their last five.
This would be a poor defeat for Fulham were it to happen but their awful form away from home combined with the fact Burnley have already downed them this season means the conditions for a home win could be right.
For our Burnley vs. Fulham prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
