Crystal Palace made their return to winning ways at the weekend, beating rivals Brighton 1-0 at the AmEx, bringing an end to their run of nine league games without a victory. The Eagles go up against Burnley on Wednesday night, having already won the reverse league meeting between the pair back in December 1-0. Seven of Palace's 12 home games in the Premier League so far this season have produced under 2.5 goals, and the Eagles haven't scored more than one goal in a game in any of their last 10 matches.
Burnley suffered their 16th league defeat of the season at the weekend, going down 2-0 at home against West Ham. The writing appears to be on the wall for Burnley, who have failed to score in nine of their 25 league games this campaign. Scott Parker's side have failed to find the back of the net in three of their last six outings, which includes two of their last three away trips.
This game had a draw written all over it until the weekend results, and with Palace getting that big win at Brighton, confidence should be much higher in the home camp heading into Wednesday's clash with relegation-threatened Burnley.
