Two sides sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table are set to clash here with Fulham set to play hosts to Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage where both teams are just above the relegation zone ahead of the hectic Christmas period.
The Cottagers suffered a terrible loss to Liverpool on Sunday, and while they were expected to lose quite convincingly, manager Marco Silva was left fuming in the end. With only 10 minutes left of regular time, it looked as if the club had had taken all three points from Anfield, as Bobby De Cordova-Reid looked to have won the game for Fulham, but two goals in the final five minutes handed Liverpool the win. Former Liverpool man, Harry Wilson, also scored in first half, as did Kenny Tete.
Fulham also managed to get all three points off Wolverhampton Wanderers just before this with a brace from Willian. His second finish and game-winning goal came in the 94th minute, while Alex Iwobi got the game's first goal goal.
Silva's side have now scored 16 goals and let in 26 too, and this does now mean only Bournemouth have a worse defensive record for those out of the bottom three - only Burnley and Sheffield United have worse records too down in the relegation spots.
As for Nottingham Forest, they are down in 15th and just two points and one spot below Fulham, meaning they are also only above the bottom three by six points. Nevertheless, considering the start to their Premier League campaign last time out, they will be pleased with this one.
On the other hand, Steve Cooper's side have lost three in a row recently after their excellent win over Aston Villa at the start of November. West Ham United beat them 2-0 at the London Stadium before Brighton & Hove Albion edged out a 3-2 after Cooper's men led twice. Worse yet, and more alarmingly for the fans, Everton also beat them last weekend in a 1-0 win at the City Ground.
