Leeds United will welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Elland Road with the Whites sitting just above the relegation zone with the Seagulls eyeing up a spot in the European spots with their games in hand giving them a mathematical possibility right now.
The run of form for Brighton sees them in eight right now but with three games in hand over seventh-placed Fulham who sit just above them. Better yet, they are also behind Tottenham Hotspur by seven points with them also having three extra games to play over the north London side, just as the Seagulls sit behind Liverpool by four points with two games in hand.
Simply put, it means if Roberto De Zerbi's men can win at least two of their games in hand, they will be in the Europa League spot of fifth, while winning all three will take them into the Champions League spots.
De Zerbi has been one of the best managerial appointments in recent times in the Premier League, and this comes after the club were already sat in the top six under Graham Potter. Better yet, they are also into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after a narrow 1-0 win away to Stoke City, and with them playing against Grimsby Town at home, Brighton should get into the semi-finals of the competition.
Last time out, the south coast side battered West Ham 4-0, as Alexis Mac Allister netted a penalty before goals from Danny Welbeck, Joel Veltman and Kaoru Mitoma.
As for Leeds, they've lost two games under Javi Gracia and won just once after beating Southampton in a crucial relegation battle matchup. Gracia's men then went on to lose to Fulham in the FA Cup towards the end of February before a narrow 1-0 loss to Chelsea.
