Southampton and Brentford will clash at St. Mary's this Wednesday night as the Saints look to get off the foot of the table and move out of the relegation zone with a win just as the Bees eye up the top eight.
Brentford are behind Fulham in eighth by one point but have a game in hand to play on them. The club also have an extra game to play over Liverpool in sixth but sit behind them but four points. Thomas Frank's men were beaten by another relegation fighter last time out, as Everton ran out 1-0 winners at Goodison Park to end a six-game unbeaten run for the Bees.
In this run, Brentford defeated Southampton 3-0 with a first half goal each from Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo. Mathias Jensen added the third 10 minutes from time. Southampton are bottom of the table once more with 22 points, although West Ham and Leicester in 17th and 16th, respectively, are just two clear. Ultimately, a win would throw them out of the bottom three.
Southampton's awful form leaves them up at 19/10 to win this game with Brentford priced at 29/20. James Ward-Prowse to score from outside the area is at 7/1 as he closes in on the most free-kick goals ever scored in the Premier League after hitting the bar from one last time out against United - half of Ward-Prowse's league goals this season have come from outside the box.
Bryan Mbeumo 2+ shots on target is up at 15/2 and Mbeumo, who hit the target the last time these sides met, has hit the target in each of his last 2 games. Ben Mee to score a header is at 11/1 - Mee scored a header the last time these sides met.
2+ shots on target each team in each half is also up at 15/2 and Lavia, Adams, Norgaard and Toney each to make 1+ fouls is a popular RAB at 6/4.
