The in-form Everton get one of their biggest tests of the season when they head to north London to meet with a Tottenham Hotspur side aiming for three wins in a row after a change in form over the past few weeks.
Spurs' poor form throughout November saw them drop out of the top three and now sit down in fifth and behind rivals Arsenal by six points and Manchester City in fourth by a point.
The Lilywhites are, however, coming into this one off the back of two wins in a row after previously going five games without a victory that saw them lose four games and draw 3-3 at the Etihad with Manchester City. As of late, Spurs have beaten Newcastle United in a stunning 4-1 display, while Richarlison kept up his goalscoring form with a goal in the away trip to Nottingham Forest. Yves Bissouma was, however, sent off that day and now misses this game.
As for Everton, their season has looked much brighter as of late and in the midst of a 10-point deduction. However, should you add on those 10 points the club brutally lost, the Toffees would be ahead of Chelsea in the table and level on points with Brighton & Hove Albion and up into 10th.
There is now a gap of seven points on the bottom three for Everton, and even with points taken off them, they remain way clear of any fears of another relegation fight and as the most in-form team in the bottom 10 by some margin.
Sean Dyche's men were knocked out of the EFL Cup in midweek, however, as Fulham came from behind to eventually win on penalties. Everton had previously won four games in a row after the 3-0 loss to Manchester United, beating Forest away from home before impressive wins over Newcastle United and Chelsea that saw them keep two more clean sheets and score a combined five goals.
