West Ham United will welcome Sheffield United to the London Stadium this weekend with the home side continuing on with their sensational form at the start of the 2023/24 season in both Europe and the Premier League.
West Ham are sitting in seventh right now in a campaign where many thought they would be battling relegation. The Hammers have won three games, lost twice, scored 11 goals and conceded only 10. The club were also victorious during the week in their EFL Cup matchup with Lincoln City that saw Tomas Soucek get his second goal of the season in a 1-0 win.
Last weekend, West Ham did fall to a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield, but West Ham did manage to ease past Backa Topola in the last outing in Europe with Mohammed Kudus scoring two goals in four minutes during the second half, while Soucek was back amongst the goals once more.
As for Sheffield United, they head into this one off the back of their heaviest loss in Premier League history. The Blades fell to an 8-0 loss at Bramall Lane to Newcastle United, where eight different goalscorers got in on the act. It means Sheffield United remain winless in the league and are in last place in what is looking like being a long, hard season for them.
The Blades also fell to a 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur before their 8-0 battering from Newcastle, despite leading for the majority of the game. In fact, the Yorkshire side conceded two goals in the final 10 minutes of the game.

The boosted odds see Jarrod Bowen to score or assist at 1/1 - Bowen has been directly involved in 12 goals in his last 13 league games against newly promoted sides (6 goals, 6 assists). Ward-Prowse had 2 shots on target in his last home game in the PL, which was against Man City, and James Ward-Prowse 2+ shots on target is now at 9/4.
