Manchester United face a do or die fixture in the Champions League this week as they travel to Denmark to face FC Copenhagen.
FC Copenhagen currently sit bottom of Champions League Group A with one draw and two losses from three games so far.
The Danish side kicked off with a 2-2 draw away at Galatasaray before falling to successive losses against Bayern Munich, 1-2, and Manchester United, 1-0.
Copenhagen will be utterly kicking themselves at having only registered one point in this group thus far having blown a 2-0 lead in Turkey with just four minutes of normal time remaining while losing games against Bayern and Man Utd while performing well.
The game at Old Trafford in particular will have been of great frustration to the Danes who were the better side for the majority of the game and spurned a number of chances, the biggest of which was a last second Jordan Larsson penalty that was saved by Amadou Onana.
Like Man Utd, Copenhagen themselves need to win this game to prevent themselves finishing bottom of the group and they're coming into this game in good form having won four of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 4-2 win away at Randers.
The win at Randers means they've now won three games in a row so they've firmly regained momentum after that deflating result.
It's now or never for FC Copenhagen and while they're clear underdogs with the bookmakers it may not be that straightforward.
Manchester currently sit 3rd in Group A with one win and two losses from three games so far this season.
United's Champions League form has been a mirror image of their league form as they've looked poor in all three games they've played but still managed to pull off a win in dramatic fashion thanks to heroics from one or two individuals.
They're coming into this game in solid form on the whole having won three of their last five games, but all three of those wins came amidst dull, uninspiring performances that don't fill you with much confidence when assessing their chances in this competition.
A Bruno Fernandes injury-time winner gave United three points at Fulham at the weekend but, again, the performance was simply not worthy of the result.
A loss here could plunge United further into crisis and if they perform in the manner they have been doing of late it would be no surprise to see them fall once again.
For our FC Copenhagen vs. Man Utd prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
