Faroe Islands vs. Albania Prediction, Tips & Stats

Albania continue their quest to qualify from a competitive group as they take on Faroe Islands in EURO 2024 qualifying.

Faroe Islands currently sit 5th in qualifying Group E with one draw and one loss from their first two games of the campaign.

They kicked things off with a 1-1 draw away in Moldova before falling to a resounding 0-3 defeat at the hands of Czechia last time out.

The draw in Moldova was a solid result but Faroe Islands have virtually no chance of progressing from this group as they tend to lose almost every qualifying game they play having won just three of their last twenty-five European Championship qualifiers.

They're conning into this game in poor form too having drawn two and lost three of their last five matches.

Their form at home, however, is much more promising having won two of their last three games on home soil so they'll be hoping they can use that to claim a shock result here.

It's likely to be a long, hard qualifying campaign for Faroe Islands and aches are they'll slump to another defeat here.

Albania currently sit 3rd in qualifying Group E with one win and one loss from their first two games of the campaign.

They started proceedings with a tight 1-0 defeat to Poland before claiming a cruising 2-0 win over Moldova last time out.

Group E is a competitive one and Albania will face a tough task trying to finish in the top two spots trying to qualify automatically, particularly given Czechia's strong start to their campaign.

They enter this game in fairly mixed form overall having won two and lost three of their last five matches overall.

Their form away from home has been poor of late too, with Albania drawing two and losing three of their last five games on the road.

This is the first-ever meeting between these two nations so it's an historic occasion in that respect, but it's a game that Albania should win without too much difficulty despite their struggles for form.

For our Faroe Islands vs. Albania prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the away side.
