France will be aiming to rack up the goals when they meet with Gibraltar in Paris on Saturday with the World Cup finalists looking to keep up their perfect record of six wins from six games.
Despite sitting with the best record in Group B and arguably as the most in-form team at these Euro 2024 qualifiers, France have only just qualified after Greece dropped points last time out. This leaves France six clear of them in third and also six clear of the Netherlands in second. Better yet, the 2018 World Cup winners have only let in one goal and scored 13, as the Netherlands managed to get a goal against them in Amsterdam.
France would also play oiut a friendly with Scotland days later in Lille, as Benjamin Pavard scored two goals within eight minutes during the first half, while Kylian Mbappe added another to his exceptional goalscoring tally with a goal from the penalty spot. Kingsley Coman got the other goal.
As for Gibraltar, they have not even scored a goal yet at these finals, meaning they sit with the worst record across the 10 groups, as even San Marino and Liechtenstein have managed to get a goal each so far.
Needless to say, and despite having already qualified, this game is merely about how many goals France can get on home soil and if Gibraltar can get a handful of shots on target, at the very least.
