Iceland and Slovakia are aiming to get another win on the board with both sides separated by one point in Group J of the Euro 2024 qualifiers in a group that is looking like the toughest one to predict.
Iceland, Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are all likely to battle for second spot in the group with Portugal expected to ease to first place with their two wins from two games, 10 goals scored and zero conceded.
Iceland managed to smash Liechtenstein 7-0 in their last outing in a game that saw Aron Gunnarsson score a hat-trick alongside goals from Mikael Egill Ellertsson, Andri Gudjohnsen, Hakon Amar Haraldsson and David Kristijan Olafsson. Prior to this, Iceland lost 3-0 to Bosnia and Herzegovina and remain down in fourth as a result.
As for Slovakia, they drew 0-0 with Luxembourg in a very underwhelming performance for them in the opening game of Group J. They did, however, go on to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 with thanks to a goal each from Robert Mak and Lukas Haraslin.
