Kosovo will welcome Switzerland to the Stadium " 𝐅𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐋 𝐕𝐎𝐊𝐑𝐑𝐈 " Pristina with the home side winless after three games with the Swiss comfortably sitting top of the Group I six-way battle so far.
Switzerland missed a golden opportunity to go to the top of the table by five points last time out, as they drew with Romania to remain just two points ahead of them in the group. Zeki Amdouni scored a goal in either half in that 2-2 draw, but nevertheless, Swiss fans will be more than pleased with their record so far as they charge towards qualification at Euro 2024.
Prior to this, the country saw victories come in over Andorra away from home, Israel at home after also smashing Belarus 5-0 in enemy territory - Renato Steffen scored a hat-trick that day inside 29 minutes before Granit Xhaka and Amdouni scored a goal each.
As for Kosovo, they have so far lost to Belarus only from their four games, but with draws against Romania, Andorra and Israel, they remain winless and adrift of Switzerland in first by seven points and Romania in second by five points. Ultimately, they need a win quickly in order to get their qualification dream on track.
