Latvia will head to Turkey this Friday with both sides sitting outside of the qualifying spots in Group D as Latvia also have an extra game to play while sitting bottom of the table.
Turkey are heading into this one with a loss and a win so far in Group D. They first defeated Armenia after a goal in the first half from Orkun Kokcu, as Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu scored in the second half.
A loss to Croatia would come soon after for them, as they were beaten 2-0 on home soil with just two shots on target throughout the game. Turkey now sit third in the table and adrift of Wales in second ahead of their meeting next week.
As for Latvia, they are coming into this game off the back of a loss to Wales in their one and only game in the Euro qualifiers. The nation also tasted a 3-2 defeat to the Republic of Ireland just prior to that loss where Roberts Uldrikis and Arturs Zjuzins scored a goal each in the first half. That brought the game to 2-2 after two early goals let in for Latvia.
