England will look to make easy work of things when they make the trip to Malta on Friday night as the European season drew to a close last weekend with the Three Lions sitting top of their European Championship table.
England have won both of their games so far in Group C and have managed to let in just one goal across the games when they avenged their Euro 2020 final loss to Italy by winning 2-1 in Rome. Harry Kane also broke the England all-time goalscorer record that day with a penalty finish in the first half putting the England captain on 54 goals.
Declan Rice also scored that day, as England then went on to beat Ukraine at Wembley with Kane bagging another goal to make it 55 for the Three Lions. Arsenal's Bukayo Saka also scored another goal for his country that day.
As for Malta, they sit bottom of the table with two losses so far after a defeat away to North Macedonia and a loss to Italy at home. They did, however, manage to beat Luxembourg in a 1-0 win away from home thanks to a finish from Krian Nwoko last Friday.
