Romania and Israel will clash in a Euro 2024 qualifier this Saturday with the home side sitting unbeaten after four games with the away team aiming to get into the top two with a victory here.
Both sides have had decent starts to the Group I campaign that sees each nation coming into this one with two wins each so far. Romania have drawn twice in a row, however, with Valentina Mihalia scoring twice in the final four minutes of the campaign after falling 2-0 down inside the first half. A 0-0 draw with Kosovo would come in before that.
The nation have also managed to beat Andorra 2-0 away from home, as Denis Alibec and Dennis Man scored a goal in either half, respectively, before Nicolae Stanciu and Andrei Burca scored in a 2-1 win against Belarus.
As for Israel, they have beaten Belarus and Andorra 2-1 in their games back in June, although a 3-0 loss to Switzerland came before this to keep the nation outside of the top two. Israel have also drawn 1-1 with Kosovo this Group I campaign.
