We're expecting an entertaining 90 minutes between Brazil and Morocco in Group C this weekend. The pair have met twice before, with each side claiming one win apiece, and both encounters producing over 2.5 goals.
Brazil weren't at their brilliant best during the qualifiers, despite a couple of resounding wins against Bolivia and Peru. However, you can never count out the Canarinho, who have won the World Cup on five separate occasions. Raphina played a key role in Brazil qualifying for the 2026 World Cup as he was the top scorer for his country with five goals, as well as chipping in with two assists.
Each of Brazil's four warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup also ended with both teams scoring, and Brazil claimed a win in three of those games against Croatia, Panama and Egypt.
Morocco weren't really tested during their World Cup qualifiers, winning all eight of their matches against lesser opposition. However, they have played two South American sides in their warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup, and both teams scored in both games against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Morocco drew their first friendly against Ecuador 1-1, but beat a Paraguay side that finished below Brazil in the South American qualifiers 2-1. So you can see why we're predicting a close and competitive 90 minutes in their opening group game of the World Cup against Brazil.
Brazil 2-1 Morocco
