In: David Raya

Few teams have caught the imagination quite like Brentford this season and one of the standout men for the Bees has been their number one, David Raya.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has played every minute of Brentford’s season so far, keeping three clean sheets in the process, and the Spaniard has proved himself as a splendid shot-stopper during that time.

Points from clean sheets and save bonuses could be on the way for Raya, making him the latest pick to take the number one spot in your fantasy team.

In: Harry Kane

Have Tottenham finally clicked under Nuno Espírito Santo? Whilst they may still be showing some defensive frailties, their attack looks to be all on the same page again, with none other than Harry Kane at the forefront.

Netting the second of Spurs’ three against Newcastle United at the weekend, Kane ended his six-game goalless run in the league, whilst adding an assist as well.

An in-form Kane is crucial to Spurs’ season and it may look as if the England captain is on the road to redeeming himself with the Lilywhite faithful.

In: Ben Chilwell

It had looked as if Ben Chilwell’s stint in the Chelsea side may have come to an end, with Marcos Alonso appearing to have been Thomas Tuchel’s preferred left-back pick at the beginning of the season.

Yet, a remarkable week for the England international, that has seen the former Leicester man net three in his last three matches for club and country has catapulted Chilwell back into contention.

There’s no doubt his goalscoring run will come to an end soon, but Chilwell could be the perfect attacking defender to bring about valuable points, both going for forward and at the back too!

Out: Cristiano Ronaldo

Whisper it, but could one of the most expensive players in the game might not even be worth his price?

Having started his return to Old Trafford in fine fashion, netting three goals in two Premier League matches, Ronaldo has been at the heart of Manchester United’s troubles in recent weeks, with some questioning whether it was worth the time to bring him back.

With some tricky tests on the horizon for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, there’s a chance the Portuguese international might not even make the starting line-up, meaning now could be the time to cash in on Ronaldo.

Out: Abdoulaye Doucouré

Everton’s dynamic man in midfield, Abdoulaye Doucouré has shone for the Toffees this season, yet a stress fracture looks set to keep the Frenchman out for a number of weeks.

Having already matched his goals tally for the 2020/21 season, Doucouré has netted twice for Rafael Benítez’s side, whilst contributing a further four assists.

Initial estimates have predicted Doucouré could miss up to seven weeks of Premier League football, making it worthwhile to look for alternative options in your engine room.

Out: Illan Meslier

One of the differentials picks for the goalkeeper spot at the beginning of the campaign, Illan Meslier hasn’t had it his way so far this season and the Leeds United goalkeeper could be costing your side valuable points.

With just one clean sheet this season, Meslier has struggled to replicate the form that had some touting him as world football’s ‘next big thing’ between the sticks last year, and whilst the 21-year-old undoubtedly has time on his side, his form has been below par so far.

Things may even get worse before they get better for the French youth international, with Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Brighton & Hove Albion all on the way for Meslier and Leeds
