It’s no secret that United desperately need a striker following the sales of Romelu Lukau and Alexis Sanchez in the summer, both of whom were not replaced and whilst Martial and Rashford provide options, they seem to be more suited playing out wide rather than through the centre.
Werner has attracted interest from several clubs, including Liverpool and it's not difficult to see why, with the 23 year old having netted nine times already this season in all competitions and United would face tough competition for his signature.
