Gillingham vs Rotherham: Michael Smith to Score First - 7/2

Rotherham will look to secure an instant return to the Championship on Saturday lunchtime, whilst Gillingham will look to preserve their League One status.

The Millers looked at one point that they were going to cruise to the League One title and make their biannual return to the Championship. three wins in their last 11 however, has allowed MK Dons to catch up, leaving the jitters of the final day to settle in. Top scorer Michael Smith will be looking to get his 20th goal, despite just getting one goal in his last 11.

Neil Harris’ Gillingham side occupies the final relegation spot heading into the final game of the season. Winless in five, a result here is the only thing that will keep the Gills up, due to having a 14 worse goal difference than Fleetwood.

Michael Smith’s form is concerning for Paul Warne’s side, but when the time matters, we expect Smith to pop up and start the day right for Rotherham.

Plymouth Argyle vs MK Dons: Troy Parrott to Score Anytime - 9/4

MK Dons travel to Home Park on Saturday, with the away side looking to snatch automatic promotion whilst Plymouth want to confirm their play-off spot.

The Dons looked as if they were going to make the most of Rotherham’s wobble and secure promotion back to the Championship for the first time since 2016. One win in their last four however means automatic promotion is out of Liam Manning’s hands, but Troy Parrott will be looking to end his first season on loan at Stadium MK by claiming his ninth league goal.

Plymouth looked a few weeks ago to have all but sealed a play-off spot after their 1-0 home win against Oxford United on the 2nd of April. one goal in four games, however, means the Green Army now sit in sixth place, with just goal difference separating them and seventh-placed Wycombe.

Both sides will have to go for it, and with MK Dons having the second-best away record in the league, goals will be in the game, with Parrott likely to get on the scoresheet.

Blackburn Rovers vs Bournemouth: Dominic Solanke to Score 2+ Goals - 15/2

Bournemouth will be feeling the pressure as they head to Ewood Park on Saturday, with Blackburn knowing this might be their last chance to get a play-off spot.

Scott Parker’s side looked all but to have secured second place after a 3-2 comeback win against Bristol City just four weeks ago. One win in their last six games however means that Forest are now breathing down the necks of the Cherries.

Dominic Solanke has continued to be a shining light, however, netting his 28th goal of the season when Bournemouth came from 3-0 down to draw at Swansea.

Tony Mowbray has suggested that this could be his last home game in charge of Blackburn Rovers, having yet to sign a new contract at Ewood Park. At one stage it looked like Rovers were going to be returning to the Premier League for the first time in 10 years. Three wins in 16 games, however. now means a win on Saturday is a must to have a chance of getting back in the play-offs.

Blackburn have conceded at least one goal in their last eight games, so Solanke to get a couple of goals and to reach 30 goals for the season is a good shout here.

Coventry City vs Huddersfield Town: Jordan Rhodes to Score First - 5/1

Huddersfield will look to keep their slim hopes of second-place alive, as they face Coventry City whose play-off ambitions are now all but over.

Carlos Corberan’s side have had a remarkable season. After finishing 20th last season, the Terriers are now on the verge of fighting to make an unlikely return to the Premier League. Jordan Rhodes is again starting to find form again, scoring in the last two games as Huddersfield overcame Middlesbrough and Barnsley.

Coventry City’s great season at pushing for a play-off spot looks to have come to an end with two games to go. Mark Robins's side's 0-0 draw last time out to West Brom means it will all but certainly be a third year in the Championship. Viktor Gyokeres will be proud of his efforts this season, scoring 15 for the Sky Blues.

It could be Rhodes versus Gyokeres on Saturday, but with Huddersfield needing the win, it will likely be Rhodes who comes out on top.

Nottingham Forest vs Swansea City: Joel Piroe to Score Anytime - 13/5

Forest will look to keep the heat and pressure on a stumbling Bournemouth, as they host an improving Swansea City at the City Ground.

Ever since Steve Cooper’s arrival at the City Ground, Forest have been the best team in the Championship, even collecting one more point than runaway leaders Fulham. A lack of striker options will be a problem for the Reds on Saturday, with Lewis Grabban and Keinan Davies both out, and Sam Surridge a doubt for Saturday.

Swansea City have got into a bad habit of letting go of three-goal leagues lately. A 4-1 and 3-0 lead against Reading and Bournemouth respectively optimises why Russell Martin’s side will have to wait until next year to try and return to the Premier League. Joel Piroe has been in-form as well, claiming four goals in his last three games.

Forest have won seven of their last eight games at the City Ground, but Swansea and Piroe will look tol score here to make it a nervy occasion in Nottingham.
