On Wednesday night Manchester City face Burnley at Turf Moor, with the Citizens looking to maintain their gap to second place Manchester United.
City won the return fixture 5-0 against the Clarets when these two sides met at the Etihad in November, however, Burnley do tend to give the Sky Blues a much tougher game at Turf Moor, as City have won three out of their last five away games at the Lancashire side, drawing one and losing the other.
Guardiola’s side did beat the Clarets 3-0 in the League Cup earlier this season, although be it against an injury hit Burnley side who didn’t field the likes Nick Pope, James Tarkowski or Ben Mee.
Prior to this game, two of their last four visits to Burnley had resulted in the score range of 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1, and with City on a club record 12 match winning streak, as well as winning via a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline on 11 separate occasions in all competitions so far this season you wouldn’t back against it not to happen again.
City to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 is priced at 13/8.
