5 Tips for this Weekend’s Premier League Action - 10/12/21

On Saturday, Wolves take on top of the table Manchester City at Molineux, with the away side looking to extend their one-point lead to Liverpool in the Premier League standings.

Burnley and West Ham go head to head with one another on Sunday at Turf Moor, with the Clarets looking to move out of the relegation zone, whilst the away side are will be desperate to maintain fourth place.

Sean Dyche’s side have won just one match in the Premier League this season which was in a 3-1 home hammering of Brentford, since then they have drawn 1-1, 3-3 and 0-0 with Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but lost 1-0 away at relegation rivals Newcastle United.

The final tip on this list comes from the King Power Stadium where Leicester City host Newcastle United on Sunday. At present, the Foxes are 11th, whilst Newcastle sit all the way down in 19th.

As things stand, Leicester have won just one of their last five Premier League matches, which came in a 4-2 victory over Watford in late November thanks to goals by James Maddison, Jamie Vardy (2) and Ademola Lookman. Whilst Newcastle have won just one game this season, defeating Burnley 1-0 last weekend at St James’ Park as Callum Wilson scored the only goal of the game.

Two players to look out for in this tip are Vardy and Wilson, as the former has scored nine goals and created one assist in 19 this season. The former Fleetwood Town striker has a decent record against the Magpies, as he has scored five in 11 games against them.

Wilson scored the Toon Army’s winner against Burnley last time out which was the former Bournemouth striker’s sixth goal in 11 matches. The 29-year-old scored a brace for Newcastle in a 4-2 win at Leicester last May.
