Torino take on Sassuolo on Friday night in Serie A, with the home side looking to climb further away from the relegation zone having beaten 18th placed Cagliari 1-0 last time out.

At present Torino are five points above Cagliari, whilst Sassuolo have had a dip in form, which has seen them drop to eight points off the Europa League places in 8th.

The over 2.5 goals market has landed twice in Torino’s last five matches, most recently in a 3-3 draw away at Atalanta. Whilst it has happened in two of Sassuolo’s last three, in a shock 2-1 home defeat to Spezia on 6th February, as well as in a 2-1 away win at Crotone.

Considering that the home side have the fourth-worst defensive record in the division, as well as the fact that Andrea Belotti has 11 goals in 22 games, whilst Sassuolo’s Francesco Caputo and Domenico Berardi have 18 goals between them in 18 games each, the odds of 17/20 for over 2.5 goals are fair.

Fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt take on 12th in the league Werder Bremen at Weser Stadium on game week 23 of the Bundesliga.

Frankfurt are the second top scorers in the Bundesliga, having found the back of the net 45 times in 22 matches, and the over 2.5 goals market has landed in four of their last five matches, including their 2-1 home win against Bayern Munich last weekend.

Meanwhile, the over 2.5 goals market has come off twice in two of Bremen’s last five matches, following their 4-1 victory away at Hertha Berlin in late January, as well as in their 4-0 hammering against Hoffenheim at Rhein-Neckar-Arena last time out.
