Levante vs Huesca: 7/2 for Levante to Win and BTTS

The first game on this list comes from Estadi Ciutat de València where Levante take on Huesca.

At present Levante are 10th in La Liga, eight points off the Europa League qualification places with 10 matches remaining, Whilst Huesca are bottom of the table on 21 points, four adrift of 17th placed Elche.

The last time these two sides met was back in December in a 1-1 draw at Huesca, where a second-half strike from Levante’s Gonzalo Melero cancelled out Javier Ontiveros’ first-half penalty.

Levante’s last win came in the Derby del Turia against Valencia on 12th March, thanks to an early strike via Roger Marti. Whilst Huesca’s last victory was against Granada in late February in a 3-2 win, thanks to first-half goals by Dani Escriche and Jorge Pulido before an own goal from Granada’s Dimitri Foulquier.

Huesca come into this game with the second-worst defence in the division, conceding 44 times. Whilst Levante strikers Roger Marti and Jose Morales have 21 goals between them this campaign.

The odds of 7/2 for Levante to win and BTTS are fair when taking into account the statistics above.

Oldham vs Stevenage: 9/2 for Oldham to Win and BTTS

17th placed Oldham Athletic host 13th in the league Stevenage at Boundary Park on Friday in a game where the home side will be looking to consolidate their position in the division, as they are 10 points above 23rd place Southend United.

Oldham’s last win came against Exeter City on 23rd March via an Alfie McCalmont strike which settled the score at 2-1.

Stevenage have won their last two games against Barrow and Carlisle 2-1 and 3-1 and the last time these two sides met it was Borough who won 3-0 at the Lamex Stadium thanks to goals from Elliot Osborne, Luther Wildin and Luke Prosser.

What must be noted is that Stevenage do have poor away form, hence why Oldham are favourites, as they have won just three away games all season.

This game is priced at 9/2 for Oldham to win and BTTS which is understandable when taking into account Stevenage’s poor away form.

Sunderland vs Oxford United: 18/5 for Sunderland to Win and BTTS

The next game on this list sees Sunderland take on Oxford United at the Stadium of Light in League One, with the Black Cats firmly in the race for automatic promotion.

Lee Johnson’s side are currently just two points behind second-placed Peterborough United with a game in hand on the London Road club. The Black Cats have won four out of their last five matches in all competitions against the likes of Portsmouth, Tranmere Rovers, Accrington Stanley and Bristol Rovers.

Karl Robinson’s Oxford are just one point outside of the playoffs and will provide a stern test to Sunderland. United have won two of their last five games 3-0 and 2-1 against Doncaster Rovers and Lincoln City, proving that they have the capability to score against the tougher opponents in the division.

Sunderland’s Charlie Wyke is the second top scorer in the league, having found the back of the net 22 times in 34 games, averaging 0.73 goals per 90 minutes.

Sunderland are priced at 18/5 to beat Oxford with both teams to score, which is fair considering the good run of form that they have found themselves on.

Doncaster Rovers vs Charlton Athletic: 5/1 Charlton Athletic to Win and BTTS

Doncaster Rovers face Charlton Athletic in a vital game for each sides’ playoff ambitions in League One.

At present Donny are outside of the playoff places on goal difference behind Blackpool, whilst Nigel Adkins’ Charlton are one point behind the Seasiders having played two games more.

The last time these two sides played each other Doncaster won 3-1 at The Valley back in September thanks to goals from Madger Gomes, Charlie Baker (O.G) and Tyreece John-Jules.

Charlton come into this game in the better form of the two, having gone unbeaten in their last five matches, winning two of them against Northampton Town 2-1 and Bristol Rovers 3-2.

Meanwhile, Doncaster haven’t won a game since they beat Oxford United 3-2 on 6th February, meaning they are on a five-game winless run.

5/1 is fair odds considering Charlton are in the better form, as well as the goalscoring statistics of the two sides.

Preston North End vs Norwich City Odds: 3/1 for Norwich City to Win and BTTS

The last game on this list comes from Deepdale where Preston North End face runaway league leaders Norwich City.

The last time these two sides met was in a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road back in September, where the Canaries twice came from behind thanks to goals from Teemu Pukki and Przemysław Płacheta, having fallen behind to strikes from Scott Sinclair and Darnell Fisher.

Norwich are the most in-form team in the division, having won nine of their last ten matches, seeing them go eight points above second in the league Watford and 14 ahead of third-placed Brentford. Only Brentford have scored more goals than the Canaries 56 this season, which has also seen Teemu Pukki score 22 in 34 league outings.

Preston are in a wretched run of form, that has seen them lose to the likes of Luton, Middlesbrough, Wycombe and Millwall in their last five games, although they did score in their defeat against the Lions, as well as in a hard-earned 1-1 draw against Bournemouth at Deepdale through Daniel Johnson.

Norwich are priced at 3/1 to win this game with both teams to score and this is fair due to the last meeting between the two sides, as well as the Canaries superb run of results.
