Bournemouth vs Luton Town: Bournemouth to win and over 2.5 goals

Capitalising on the misfortunes of teams around them, Bournemouth marched to the top of the Championship table courtesy of Phillip Billing’s second-half goal against play-off-chasing Cardiff City.

Looking to consolidate their position at the top of the tree when they welcome Luton Town to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Scott Parker’s new side have established themselves as one of the promotion contenders.

One of the division’s top scorers, an in-form Bournemouth could go big when mid-table Luton visit the south coast, making a Cherries win with over 2.5 goals a 6/4 price.

Bristol City vs Fulham: Fulham to win and BTTS

Going unbeaten in their first five matches of the campaign, Fulham had positioned themselves as the division’s runaway leaders, yet a dreadful September has seen the Cottagers lose two league matches from three, resulting in them slumping down the table in the process.

Goals haven’t particularly been an issue for Marco Silva’s side, having netted a league-high 18 from eight matches, however, it has been an inability to keep the ball out of the back of the net that has cost them in recent weeks.

No clean sheet since the last weekend of August means Fulham will travel to Bristol City in shaky form at the back and, but we believe their form will improve as it simply has to in these early stages, so we're headinf for Fulham to win and BTTS.

Sheffield United vs Derby: Billy Sharp to score anytime

Two sides who started the season in poor fashion, Sheffield United have enjoyed a sharp upturn in fortunes recently, whilst the troubles continue to mount for Derby County.

In the midst of a torrid financial situation, Derby’s off-the-pitch issues have leaked onto their performances on it and the Rams look set to have another difficult weekend in this Yorkshire vs Derbyshire clash.

Unbeaten in four league matches, the Blades are sitting comfortably in mid-table and one man responsible for their good run of form is Billy Sharp, who has netted twice, with the striker priced at 13/8 to score anytime vs Derby.

Stoke vs Hull: Stoke to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

Stoke City have well and truly positioned themselves as playoff contenders this season and could even launch a bid for one of the two automatic promotion spots, should they keep up their impressive form so far this year.

By contrast, Hull City will just be hoping to be in with a shout of survival by the time the table is sorting itself out next Spring, with the Tigers currently occupying the final relegation spot.

With a resurgent Nottingham Forest side directly below them, Grant McCann’s men could do with getting some points on the board soon, yet it’s unlikely to happen this weekend and a Stoke 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 victory looks a good shout at 6/4.

Swansea vs Huddersfield: Swansea and BTTS-no

A Premier League fixture as recently as 2018, Swansea City and Huddersfield Town both have aspirations of a return to the top flight in the near future, with the pair experiencing contrasting fortunes so far this season.

Huddersfield are just outside the playoff spots following a strong start to the 2021/22 campaign, whilst Swansea are currently flirting with disaster just two spots above the drop zone, but despite their rocky returns this campaign, the Swans have kept a clean sheet in three of their four home fixtures this year.

Whilst a victory against their opponents on Saturday may be against the odds, Swansea have shown enough to suggest they are capable of turning their poor form around and if they are to pick up a result it’s likely to come via this 11/4 shout.
