Erling Haaland is currently the favourite to be this season’s Champions League top goalscorer following his blistering start to life at Manchester City.
The Norwegian has scored 23 goals in 19 Champions League matches for the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund - a record that could be further enhanced with Manchester City due to the quality of their squad.
The former Red Bull Salzburg forward is priced at 10/3 to create 10+ Premier League assists this season.
So far, Haaland had made one assist in his opening five matches, doing so in the Cityzens’ 4-0 home win over Bournemouth on matchday two.
Haaland made a total of 23 assists in 89 matches for Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland has already managed to score nine goals in his opening five Premier League matches, meaning that he will need to score 31 in his next 33 matches.
This start to the season from Haaland has been nothing short of incredible, as the 22-year-old broke the record for the most goals scored by a player in the month of August following his nine goals in five matches.
Two of Haaland’s nine Premier League goals have come with his head, meaning that he would be on course to score 10 by matchday 25 if he keeps up his current goalscoring rate.
Haaland has scored 13 career goals to date and could easily beat the 10-goal mark if he carries on in his recent vein of form.
As mentioned above, Haaland reached nine league goals for the season on Wednesday night following his hat-trick against Nottingham Forest, having also achieved the same feat at home to Crystal Palace last weekend.
The Norwegian’s projected goalscoring rate would see him score 45 goals by matchday 25, which shows how impressive his goalscoring form has been in what is his first season as a City player.
