Mbappe is arguably the world's best right now and at 6/1, he is the favourite to secure the 2021 Ballon d'Or and a triumph at Euro 2020 is likely going to slash them odds. As of now, and by some distance, Mbappe is the top goalscorer of all Frenchman in Europe's top five leagues, as Oliver Giroud barely gets a chance for Chelsea, whilst Antoine Griezmann still can't find any form for Barcelona.
The likes of Kinglsey Coman will be in there too, but no doubt Mbappe is the man moving forward for France and it seems to be a case of who may get close to him, rather than if he can outscore his teammates. In truth, the goalscoring feats of Giroud, Michel Platini and Thierry Henry will all be overtaken by the Paris Saint-Germain star's ability if he continues in this scintillating form, and with four goals at the World Cup already three years ago, this should be another milestone to reach for Mbappe.
Griezmann does still turn up for his country, however, and with four goals at the World Cup (joint with Mbappe) and the top scorer award at the last European Championships, he could still rival his countryman. We still think Mbappe will get it done, though, but with the Barcelona man on penalty duty for his country (if he starts), it's not as simple as Kane and Lukaku's chances.
