Could Kane be England's Top scorer once again?

Not just is Kane the favourite to get the England top scorer status, but at 5/1, the Tottenham Hotspur striker is the favourite to take home the Golden Boot at Euro 2020, which will be his second consecutive major international top scorer award.

In truth, nothing should really stand in his way within the England squad. Kane was the top scorer at the 2018 World Cup with five goals and with 34 now in total for the Three Lions, he is just six away from breaking into the top five for his country and he will no doubt be the main man heading into this summer's tournament with England.

Raheem Sterling's goals have dried up this season, whilst there isn't a guaranteed place for other goalscorers like Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish. This all points to it being a relatively easy summer for Kane in terms of surpassing his countrymen and reaching another milestone for England - he needs just seven goals to surpass Michael Owen in fifth (40) in England's all-time list.

Lukaku barely even has a competitor

Out of all three players in this acca, Lukaku is easily the most promising one to back. Simply put, he is the greatest goalscorer in Belgium's history and has been since he was just 26 and with four goals at the World Cup last time around for his nation, he once again topped the list as the country's top scorer.

Now, with 59 goals for the Inter Milan forward, nobody comes close to him at the top of Belgium's all-time list, and this lead will only stretch over time. This season, Lukaku has netted 23 Serie A goals on route to Inter winning their first Serie A in over a decade and all this form bodes well for him in the summer, with the likes of Eden Hazard barely even getting a shot on goal these days.

Other players such as Kevin De Bruyne may pop up with a goal or two, but just like Kane, as Lukaku is also on penalty duty, it's probably going to be a case of who else is actually going to contribute at all, rather than actually surpass the ex-Manchester United man.

Mbappe still has Griezmann to worry about

Mbappe is arguably the world's best right now and at 6/1, he is the favourite to secure the 2021 Ballon d'Or and a triumph at Euro 2020 is likely going to slash them odds. As of now, and by some distance, Mbappe is the top goalscorer of all Frenchman in Europe's top five leagues, as Oliver Giroud barely gets a chance for Chelsea, whilst Antoine Griezmann still can't find any form for Barcelona.

The likes of Kinglsey Coman will be in there too, but no doubt Mbappe is the man moving forward for France and it seems to be a case of who may get close to him, rather than if he can outscore his teammates. In truth, the goalscoring feats of Giroud, Michel Platini and Thierry Henry will all be overtaken by the Paris Saint-Germain star's ability if he continues in this scintillating form, and with four goals at the World Cup already three years ago, this should be another milestone to reach for Mbappe.

Griezmann does still turn up for his country, however, and with four goals at the World Cup (joint with Mbappe) and the top scorer award at the last European Championships, he could still rival his countryman. We still think Mbappe will get it done, though, but with the Barcelona man on penalty duty for his country (if he starts), it's not as simple as Kane and Lukaku's chances.
