Fleetwood have a mammoth task on their hands tonight as they play host to the Premier League champions in the League Cup.

The hosts have so far faced Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and Sheffield United in this competition, so they have earned the right to take on one of the big boys.

Arsenal's only previous appearance in the League Cup this season produced a memorable 4-2 win over their arch rivals Tottenham, and they head into tonight's fixture as the overwhelming favourite to progress into the next round.

Over 3.5 Goals - Over 3.5 Goals

Four of Fleetwood's matches this season have produced over 3.5 goals; the most recent two have both ended in defeat. Arsenal have produced four or more goals only twice; both times were in cup competitions, including their last League Cup tie against Tottenham.

Anytime Goalscorer - Max Dowman

Arsenal's impressive teenage prospect Max Dowman has scored two goals for the Gunners this season, despite playing only four matches. Both of those goals arrived in a 4-2 win over Tottenham in the last round of the League Cup.

Player To Be Carded - Rhys Bennett

Rhys Bennett tops the disciplinary chart for Fleetwood this season alongside Lewis McCann and Ched Evans. The trio have picked up five yellow cards apiece, but we're backing the young defender to get booked against Arsenal tonight, as he will be up against a talented attack that is bound to test his abilities like no other side has done so far this season.

Anytime Goalscorer - Mikel Merino

Another Arsenal player who hasn't seen a lot of minutes this season and will surely get a chance to impress tonight is Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino. The 30-year-old has only scored one goal for the Gunners in 12 appearances, four of which were starts, across all competitions. However, the versatile midfielder has an eye for goal and will cause the Fleetwood defence plenty of headaches tonight.
