The first Merseyside Derby of the season takes place on Saturday, as Liverpool make the journey across Stanley Park to take on Everton.

Klopp’s side have a few injuries but still have plenty of big hitters, such as the returning Darwin Nunez, at their disposal. The Reds will be favourites to heap more derby day misery on their Merseyside rivals, even with a goal handicap.

Bayern Munich will be looking to bounce back from a draw in their last Bundesliga game with a win away to Union Berlin on Saturday.

Union have enjoyed a great start to their league season, undefeated with three wins and a draw in their first four games. After beating RB Leipzig 2-1 two weeks ago, The Iron Ones went on to thrash Schalke 6-1 away from home. Being in such good form, it may take more than one goal for Bayern to see them off.

The Bavarians are top of the table after also winning three and drawing one so far. Bayern thrashed Europa League champions Frankfurt on the opening day before beating Wolfsburg then hammering Bochum 7-0 two weeks ago. Julien Nagelsmann’s side did slip up and drop points at home to Borussia Monchengladbach last Saturday and were held 1-1, but bounced back on Wednesday with a 5-0 win, albeit over 3.Liga side Viktoria Koln, in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.

Bayern will need to continue their goalscoring form against an in-form Union Berlin to take home the three points on Saturday.

Paris Saint-Germain’s band of superstars travel to Nantes this weekend as the French champions go about continuing in unbeaten start.

Nantes have had slow start to the Ligue 1 campaign, with just one win and three draws in their opening five games. They managed to claim their first victory of the season last weekend against Toulouse, before drawing away to Strasbourg through the week.

The visitors will be looking to carry on their unsurprisingly good start to the campaign, unbeaten in their opening five games. The champions won their first three before sharing the points at home to Monaco last Sunday, but followed that up by cruising to a 3-0 win over Toulouse on Wednesday.

PSG sit top after firing a whopping 21 goals in their five league games so far, and with the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar in good form, it could be another high-scoring win against Nantes. These two teams contested the French Trophee des Champions at the end of July, with the Parisians running out 4-0 winners. A similar scoreline may be on the cards this weekend.

Juventus will be hopeful that this is finally the year the Old Lady returns to the top of the Serie A and reclaim their Scudetto. They travel to Fiorentina on Saturday to try and keep their unbeaten league start going.

The Florence outfit sit in midtable after picking up one win, two draws, and a defeat in so far in Italy’s top tier. After consecutive stalemates in the league against Empoli and Napoli, Vincenzo Italiano’s side suffered defeat on Wednesday away to Udinese.

Juve opened their season with a win over Sassuolo before back-to-back draws with Sampdoria and Roma. Max Allegri’s side scored a win in midweek against Spezia, which bumps them up to fifth in the table. They’ll be after another win on Saturday against a Fiorentina side that have struggled of late.

After a transfer merry-go-round at Barcelona, Xavi will be looking for his new-look side to carry on their promising start to the season when they face a Sevilla side that are on a bad run of form.

Julen Lopetegui’s side are 15th in the table after two defeats and a draw so far, against sides you would expect Sevilla to be beating. Their opening day defeat to Osasuna was followed up by a draw at home to Valladolid, before being beat 2-1 away to Almeria last weekend.

Barca have been in good form and with the addition of some huge talent, such as Robert Lewandowski who has already hit the ground running with four league goals in his opening three games, Barca could walk over an out-of-sorts Sevilla side.
