Fantasy Football: 3 in, 3 Out for Gameweek 12

Latest News

In: Conor Gallagher

On the back of making his first senior appearance for the English national team, Conor Gallagher looks set to close the year out as one of the Premier League’s in-form midfielders.

With four goals and two assists already in this campaign, Gallagher has been a thorn in the side of many top-flight teams and the dynamic midfield man could be adding to those attacking returns in the coming weeks.

Burnley, Aston Villa and Leeds United awaits Palace in their next three fixtures, making Gallagher a must-have for any fantasy managers.

In: Jarrod Bowen

Few players in the division are enjoying a better campaign than West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen and with the Hammers looking like the team to beat this season, the forward could prove a useful asset for your squad.

Bowen’s numbers speak for themselves, with the former Hull City man expected to register a goal or an assist in every other match he plays.

Expect the 24-year-old to be instrumental in West Ham’s attack when they travel to face Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend and don’t be surprised to see Bowen pop up with another bumper points haul.

In: Emerson Royal

You’d be mistaken for forgetting Tottenham Hotspur brought Emerson Royal in at the start of the season, such has been the mediocrity of his campaign so far.

However, with the arrival of Antonio Conte at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium comes a chance for Emerson to ignite his Spurs career.

Likely to feature heavily in Conte’s wing-back system, expect Emerson to increase his attacking returns, whilst picking up clean sheets too.

Out: Danny Ings

Having begun the campaign in scintillating form, Danny Ings struggled towards the end of Dean Smith’s reign, with the English striker a doubt for this weekend’s fixture.

Missing in both of Aston Villa’s previous two Premier League matches, Ings may face a sustained stint on the sideline, should he fail to impress former teammate Steven Gerrard.

There is no guarantee for Ings he will be part of Gerrard’s plans at Villa Park, making him an expensive asset without any certainties on points returns.

Out: Robert Sanchez

Crushing fantasy managers’ hearts with his red card against Newcastle United in the final match before the international break, Robert Sanchez will be absent from the Brighton & Hove Albion side for three matches.

Sent off in the second half against the Magpies, the Spanish goalkeeper has been many managers go-to shot-stopper this season, yet he will leave a gaping hole in a number of squads.

Irrespective of his suspension, Sanchez will return to the Brighton side during a tricky run of form, with Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea to come before the year is out.

Out: Jamie Vardy

Having been many people’s picks for a Romelu Lukaku replacement in Gameweek 9, Jamie Vardy has blanked in his past three matches and a difficult test lies on the horizon for the Leicester City man.

Chelsea are the visitors to the King Power Stadium this weekend, where the Foxes have won just twice this season and Vardy could be kept quiet by a stodgy Blues’ backline.

The absence of Youri Tielemans will likely stifle Leicester’s usually fluid creativity, meaning Vardy may have to wait a little longer before ending his bad run of form.
