Five Tips for Final Round of Premier League Matches - 23/5/21

Latest News

Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur: Harry Kane to Score

With over 330 appearances in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt, Harry Kane could be on the move from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. If Sunday’s match against Leicester City is to be the 27-year-old’s last for the club, we’re backing him to add to his tally of 220 goals for Spurs.

Scoring twice the last time the two met on the final day three seasons ago, Kane enters the last match of the campaign tied on 22 goals with Mohamed Salah at the top of the Premier League Golden Boot table.

If Kane was to take home the Golden Boot award, he would become the first player since Thierry Henry in 2002/03 to score the most goals and provide the most assists across a Premier League season. He’s a healthy 6/4 to net anytime against the FA Cup winners.

Manchester City vs Everton: BTTS no Draw

After securing a third Premier League title in four years, Manchester City will end their successful campaign against an Everton outfit still hopeful of European football.

Only City, Leicester and Manchester United have taken more points on the road than Everton this season, but it was the Toffees' struggles at home which have cost them. With just two league wins at Goodison Park since the turn of the year, only the three relegated sides and Burnley boast a worst home record in the division.

Despite City’s impressive defensive performances this season, Pep Guardiola’s men haven’t kept a clean sheet at home in the league since mid-February. With changes expected for the champions ahead of next weekend’s Champions League final, there’s value for money in BTTS no draw at 6/4.

Wolves vs Manchester United: Manchester United to Win and Over 3.5 Goals

United will travel to the Molineux in the knowledge a victory will extend their unbeaten streak away from home to 26 matches, with the chance to break Arsenal’s record of 27 when the 2021/22 campaign rolls around.

Last tasting defeat as a visiting side against Liverpool in January 2020, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could become the first team since Arsenal in 2003/04 to go an entire campaign unbeaten away from home.

The Reds will face a Wolves side set for their fourth season in the Premier League, but with just one victory in their last four matches, United are a healthy 11/2 to win the match and over 3.5 goals to be scored.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea: Chelsea to Win 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1

Avenging their disappointing FA Cup final defeat with a win against fellow Champions League hopefuls Leicester in midweek, Chelsea head to Villa Park knowing a win will secure a top-four finish.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have lost one of their last 13 away matches and go into their crucial match against Aston Villa firm favourites to secure Champions League football. But, despite their strong form, Chelsea have struggled to blow sides away this season.

No player has reached double figures in the league this season and since Tuchel took over in December, Chelsea have only scored more than two goals in the league twice. Priced at 7/4, Chelsea are a strong bet to win 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Mohamed Salah to Score First

Mohamed Salah has scored over 20 goals in all competitions every season since arriving at Liverpool and with one match of the 2020/21 campaign to play the Egyptian international is on course for his best Premier League tally since 2018, where he broke the record with 32 goals in one season.

His 22 goals this season have been crucial to the Reds’ revival, who like Chelsea, head into their final fixture against Crystal Palace also needing to win to qualify for next year’s Champions League.

The 28-year-old came off the bench to score twice in the 7-0 victory away at Selhurst Park earlier in the season and is almost certain to be in from the beginning on Sunday. Salah has scored in four of Liverpool’s last five Premier League wins and is 15/8 to open the scoring at Anfield.
