Harry Kane provides huge injury boost after hamstring surgery

Latest News

Harry Kane's injury update

Harry Kane has been out of action ever since he left the pitch in the 1-0 loss against Southampton on New Year's Day. The Tottenham Hotspur star was found to have a hamstring tear, to which he needed a surgery to fix.

Now, weeks after he went under the knife, the England captain has provided an injury update, as he works hard to get fit for Euro 2020.

What Next?

Despite the injury boost, Kane is still not expected be back until at least late April. After the surgery, rehabilitation and regaining fitness, the striker will most likely miss the north London derby on April 25, but could make it back for the three remaining league games following that clash.

It was widely reported that Kane would most likely miss Euro 2020 due to the severity of his injury. However, with positive updates like this, the England star could still be one of the first names on Gareth Southgate's team sheet.
