Jadon Sancho next club odds

Jadon Sancho has become one of the hottest young talents in European football since leaving Manchester City in 2017.

The London-born winger has contributed 17 goals and 16 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund this season, catching the eye of Europe’s elite clubs, particularly those the Premier League.

With 14 goals in the Bundesliga so far, incredibly, only star strikers Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski have bagged more than the 20-year-old this season. Combine this with his 15 assists as well, and it's fair to say that Sancho isn't just one of the world's best youngsters, but perhaps one of the best around.

The Englishman's magical form over the past two seasons has reportedly attracted interest from the football giants, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool those the more serious about his signature.

In this day and age, considering his age, nationality, potential and his abilities already, it's tough to see anybody prizing him for less than £100m.

With that said, here, we take a look at Paddy Power's odds for Sancho’s next club.

Manchester United the favourites for Jadon Sancho

As is the case with United and their gargantuan status, each time a youngster bursts on the scene, the link to the English football giants happens also. The Red Devils have long been linked with the Dortmund star, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to rebuild the club with young, attacking, British talent.

Now, after the reports continue to ramp up, the odds of 2/1 for Sancho to join United are definitely promising.

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, recently stated United have been in negotiations with Sancho for the past two months and although current circumstances outside of football have made communication with Dortmund difficult, “United are confident” in signing the 20-year-old, Romano said.

Also, with Hakim Ziyech moving to Chelsea, perhaps this opens the door a little more for Solskjaer to prize away a marquee signing from their Premier League rivals.

Solskjaer’s side seem to excel when playing in a 4-3-2-1 formation, making it a perfect fit for a goalscoring playmaker like Sancho who is already suited to such a playing style with Dortmund.

When all considered, United will be confident in signing him and with Sancho being the third top scorer in the Bundesliga and second in the assist charts, it is definitely a transfer they need to happen at 2/1.

Jadon Sancho to Chelsea very likely

Frank Lampard's Chelsea, similarly to United, have taken the youthful approach when rebuilding his side. Now, just behind United, Chelsea are a promising 3/1 to sign Sancho this summer.

Since the departure of their Belgian talisman, Eden Hazard, Chelsea have struggled to find a creative talent to be able to make them title contenders again. With this in mind, Sancho's 30 goals and 38 assists across his first two seasons in the Bundesliga have made him an essential figure to those seeking a formidable, young attack.

As mentioned, the signing of Ziyech may perhaps push Sancho further away from Chelsea, with the two mainly occupying as right-wingers. However, considering Sancho was the assist leader last season in Germany, the Blues will no doubt do what they can to get him, especially when you remember he is a boyhood fan of the club.

Considering Sancho is now one of the world's best, Champions League football next season will be on his mind. The likelihood of Chelsea being amongst Europe's elite is much higher than United's right now, which could be a significant factor in the winger's decision this summer.

Liverpool after Jadon Sancho

The runaway Premier League leaders, Liverpool, will look to develop their squad for next season, so they can keep this record-breaking momentum going. With a Champions League already in the bag and potentially a Premier League title, Liverpool are going to have no problems whatsoever in attracting the big names.

With odds of Sancho joining Liverpool at 4/1, the Reds are far from the favourites. However, recent transfer rumours of a possible bid from Real Madrid for their superstar forward, Sadio Mane, could prompt the likes of Liverpool to open their wallets and join Chelsea and United in the bidding war for Sancho.

Jurgen Klopp’s previous ties and expertise on young players at Dortmund, could also be a factor for the England international to consider. Klopp has attained a stellar reputation for his role in the development of youngsters, especially at Dortmund, where the likes of Marco Reus and Mario Gotze transformed into some of the world's best under his guidance.

Furthermore, like most players, the Dortmund star will be looking for a club that will be able to offer him accolades and trophies, and considering the recent dominance of the Merseysiders, Sancho's head could definitely be turned towards a move to Liverpool.

Jadon Sancho to Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus are the outside odds

While Barcelona have been known to spend millions on developing talent, like Ousmane Dembele and Phillipe Coutinho, the Spanish Giants may not enter a bidding war on the Dortmund winger.

Barcelona will be in the market in some regard, considering Luis Suarez's age and current knee issues. However, with a strike force of Lionel Messi, Dembele, Coutinho, Ansu Fati and Antoine Griezmann already costing obscene amounts to buy and keep at the club, Sancho won't be a priority with his heavy price tag.

Over the past decade, Bayern have been notorious for taking away Dortmund's superstars, making this link more of a natural one, rather than it potentially happening. Bayern’s attack is full of impressive young wingers already, such as Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman, who have routed themselves as first-team players in the German side.

Sancho's love from the Dortmund faithful probably keeps him from putting pen to paper in Munich, although, if the past is anything to go by, Bayern will do all they can to sign him, and maybe get the deal done.

As for Juventus, despite Cristiano Ronaldo showing no signs of slowing down, he is in fact 35 now and the Old Lady will need to consider reinforcements soon. Indeed, it doesn't seem Sancho's eyes are on a move to Italy, but with Serie A titles all but guaranteed, it's tough for anybody to say no.

Paddy Power have priced the odds of Sancho joining Barcelona 9/1, whilst a move to Bayern and Juventus is set at a tempting 10/1.
