Paul Pogba Next Club Odds

Paul Pogba looks likely to leave Old Trafford for a second time in the upcoming transfer window, as Manchester United are yet to agree a deal with the 28-year-old Frenchman and with the Red Devils looking increasingly unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season, he is expected to leave the club for pastures new.

The 2018 World Cup winner has been seen as somewhat of an enigma since re-joining United back in the summer of 2016 for a world-record fee of £89m, due to his inconsistent performances, since the end of the 2017/18 campaign, he has frequently expressed his desire to leave the club, with his agent Mino Raiola persistently adding fuel to the fire.

PSG Odds: 2/1

Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites to sign Pogba, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side are looking to improve the quality of their options in midfield.

The Parisian’s midfield has glaringly lacked the quality to compete with other top clubs in Europe, especially when the likes of Marco Verratti has been injured, on top of the fact that they are overloaded with defensive-minded players such as Idrissa Gueye and Ander Herrera also on their books.

With Pogba being on a free contract, it would save PSG a significant amount of money as well as helping them on the Financial Fair Play side of things having managed to acquire the likes of Gianluigi Donarumma, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi in similar circumstances last summer.

Juventus Odds: 3/1

Juventus are also interested in making a move for their former midfielder in the summer.

According to the likes of the Daily Mail, Juve have been in contact with the 28-year-old in an attempt to take him back to the Juventus Stadium.

Pogba played for the Old Lady in the aftermath of his initial free transfer from Old Trafford back in the summer of 2012 and did so for four years, winning Serie A four times, on top of two Coppa Italia’s and two Supercoppa Italiana’s in a successful period at the club under Antonio Conte and current manager Massimiliano Allegri who he has a good relationship with.

The 28-year-old is priced at 3/1 to move back to Juventus having left six years ago.

Real Madrid Odds: 4/1

Real Madrid have seemingly been interested in Pogba from the moment he stepped through the door at Old Trafford.

Los Blancos are well known to be admirers of the French star and with the likes of midfield trio Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos all ageing, Carlo Ancelotti may feel as though his side needs some fresh impetus.

With the financial situation of football in Spain, the signature of Pogba would be a good one for Real due to the 28-year-old being a free agent, on top of the fact that he could be further persuaded to join the Santiago Bernabeu club if France teammate Kylian Mbappe makes the expected switch in the summer.

Pogba is priced at 4/1 to make the switch from Old Trafford to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Newcastle United Odds: 9/1

Newcastle United are surprise candidates to sign Pogba in the summer, mainly due to the wealth of the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.

With the Magpies being the richest club in world football by quite some distance, the sky really is the limit for the St James’ Park club who will be looking to build towards the European qualification places if they stay in the Premier League this campaign.

The Toon Army reportedly have a £200m transfer budget this summer, meaning that a free transfer of Pogba would allow them to invest in other areas in the squad, whilst having a marquee signing to help attract other big names to the club.

Newcastle are priced at 9/1 to sign Pogba this summer.

Barcelona Odds: 10/1

The final team on this list is Barcelona, who are looking to continue their rebuild under legendary midfielder, Xavi.

Having signed the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Adama Traore in January, Barca’s transfer strategy is a fairly unknown one to those outside the club, meaning that the signing of Pogba is a possibility.

Barca have seemingly recovered from some of their financial issues, having bought Ferran Torres for around £50m in January, meaning that three of their most recent signings have been from the Premier League.

Pogba is priced at 10/1 to join Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window.
