Frank de Boer Inter Milan
Frank de Boer has proven himself as a flop throughout Europe, worsening the situation at Inter Milan, finding himself sacked after five games at Crystal Palace, and now struggling in the MLS with Atlanta United.

Arsene Wenger Netherlands manager odds

The former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is favourited at 11/8 to take charge of the Netherlands national team after it was announced that Ronald Koeman would become the next Barcelona manager.

The Frenchman has been working as the director of development at FIFA since last year after he stepped down as Arsenal manager in a mutual agreement with the club. Wenger stated later that he was "not finished" and would still like an opportunity to manage in the future.

In recent reports, the ex-Arsenal boss of 22 years has said to have offered his services to the Netherlands national team to become their new manager. Although according to talkSPORT, who interviewed Dutch expert Marcel van der Kraan, this is not the case at all.

However, with such an illustrious career in club management and a short break from that, perhaps making the move to international football is just right for him.

Erik ten Hag Netherlands odds

The current Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag, has been spoken about by some to become the next Netherlands national team manager and is now priced at odds of 8/1.

In recent years, Ajax has seen spectacular success under ten Hag, with the side reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2018/19, as well as helping to produce stars such as Frankie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt.

Ajax are, of course, not the be-all end-all for managers in this day and age, as the club is expected to win the Eredivisie each year. Moving to the Dutch national team could be the perfect step for this great young manager.

Louis van Gaal Netherlands manager odds

The former Netherlands manager, Louis Van Gaal, is priced at 11/1 to come out of retirement and become the next Netherlands manager after Koeman left for Barcelona.

Van Gaal has seen lots of success as the national team boss after guiding them to a third-place finish at the 2014 World Cup, beating the home nation Brazil 3-0. After this, he left for Manchester United following David Moyes’ dismissal, where he would win the FA Cup and set the foundations perfectly for the future of United by acquiring the services of names such as Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

When the Dutchman was eventually relieved of his role at the club in 2016, van Gaal announced that he would retire from football management. However, a return to the Dutch national side could be enough to bring him out of his cosy retirement and at 11/1, it is certainly a decent punt.

Dick Advocaat Netherlands odds

Since he departed from the Netherlands national side in 2017 after refusing to sign a new contract, Dick Advocaat has been continuing his management at club level. In October 2019, the Dutch coach was been appointed manager of the Feyenoord side although he hasn't won a major trophy in Holland since 1997, other than the Johan Cruyff Shield.

Although this could rule him out of the Netherlands management role, it is not uncommon for Advocaat to move management roles as seen with his 29 different positions in the 36 years, managing his nation three times since 1993.

The three times Dutch boss is currently priced at 14/1 odds to become the next permanent manager of the Netherlands side, and it remains unlikely as he continues to build with Feyenoord.

Frank de Boer Netherlands manager odds

The recently departed Atlanta United manager, Frank de Boer, is another name that has been mentioned for the Netherlands national team coach role.

Boer was formerly an assistant manager of the Dutch side for three years before moving to Ajax for his first professional managerial role. In his time as an assistant of the Netherlands side, he helped his team reach the finals of the 2010 World Cup, before losing to Spain 1-0.

With Boer without a management role, he is currently priced at 8/1 odds to become the next permanent manager of the Netherlands side and no doubt the ex-Inter coach would snap up the chance at returning to the national setup.

Guus Hiddink next Netherlands manager odds

One manager who is familiar with international football is Guus Hiddink, who has managed seven different nations including two spells as the Netherlands manager. In his 37 years, Hiddink has had 21 positions in football with his latest management role being the boss of the U21 China men's team, which ended in September 2019.

Two of the biggest success’ in his career have been, reaching the semi-finals with South Korea in 2002, as well as winning PSV Eindhoven’s only European trophy in the 1987/88 season.

The current unemployed Dutch coach is priced at 12/1 odds to become the next permanent manager of the Netherlands team.

Peter Bosz next club odds

The current Bayer Leverkusen manager, Peter Bosz, is another who heavily linked to the Netherlands job since the departure of Koeman.

Bosz has seen success with his sides in recent seasons as he reached the Europa League final in 2016/17 with Ajax, and reached the quarter-finals with Bayer Leverkusen this season. As well as this, the Leverkusen boss was runner-up in the DFB Pokal final as they were beaten 4-2 by Bayern Munich.

Although it could be seen that he is contempt in Germany, the Dutch manager could be persuaded to take his first international management role as the Euros are on the horizon, as he made just eight appearances for his nation.

Bosz is currently priced at 10/1 odds to become the next permanent manager of Netherlands.

Martin Jol Netherlands odds

Since his last management position ended back in 2016, Martin Jol has seemed to have moved on to bigger things as he has been recently made technical director of ADO Den Haag in July 2020.

The former Ajax and Fulham manager has seen some success in his time as manager, winning the KNVB Cup with sides of JC Roda and Ajax. As well as this, he brought Spurs back into the UEFA Cup for the first time since the English cup ban.

Due to recently moving into his role at ADO Den Haag, it is unlikely that he will become the next Netherlands manager. Despite this, Jol is priced at 20/1 to move to his national team as head coach.

Mauricio Pochettino Next club odds

One of the more unlikely candidates for this position is former Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino, who is currently priced at 18/1 odds to become the permanent manager of the Netherlands national team.

Since his departure from Spurs back in 2019, Pochettino has yet to take up his next managerial role, despite his incredible ability. As of yet, there has been no official offer for the Argentinean for a managerial role, despite the huge recent management openings at teams such as Barcelona.

Many have tried to speculate his next role, however, it seems that the Argentine is enjoying his break from football with no rush to coming back as of yet.
