Mega Accumulator Tip Selections

Hull City vs Southampton - Southampton to win

Hull City are coming into this game in poor form in general, as the Tigers are winless in their previous three league matches, following two defeats against Bristol City (4-2) and Blackburn Rovers (0-3), while last time out they secured a 2-2 draw against Swansea City.

As for Southampton, despite the lacklustre performance against local rivals Portsmouth, the Saints are unbeaten in their previous three matches, with a win against Norwich City (0-3) to show for their troubles.

Norwich City vs Wrexham - Norwich City to win

The Canaries are unbeaten in their previous two league matches, with four points from six available following a draw against Coventry City (1-1) and a 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers. Josh Sargent, in particular, has shone this season, with five goals from five matches this campaign.

Wrexham have lost three of their five league matches this season and have conceded at least two goals in four of their previous five league games.

Portsmouth vs Sheffield Wednesday - Portsmouth to win

Portsmouth find themselves in the top 10 after five matches, and coming into this game, the home side have kept three consecutive clean sheets, and Pompey are unbeaten in their last three league matches. Sheffield Wednesday have picked up only one point this season, and have suffered three straight losses in all competitions and have not kept a clean sheet in 19 matches.

Stevenage vs Exeter City - Stevenage to win

Stevenage have continued their fine start to the season, as the home side have won five of their first seven league games, and they come into this one unbeaten in their last three matches. Stevenage are also unbeaten at home in the league this season with wins against Wycombe Wanderers (1-0), Northampton Town (2-0) & Rotherham United (1-0).

Exeter City have suffered three straight defeats in all competitions, following their midweek defeat against Cardiff City (0-1) in the EFL Trophy. The Grecians have failed to score in their last three matches and have conceded first in four of their last five matches.

Huddersfield Town vs Burton Albion - Huddersfield Town to win

Huddersfield Town suffered a surprise defeat against Bradford City last time out, but Lee Grant’s side have still made a good start to their league campaign. The home side has won five of their first eight league matches this campaign, scoring 15 goals. Burton Albion currently occupy a place in the relegation zone, and the Brewers currently have the worst attack in the division with five goals scored, along with Northampton Town.

Cardiff City vs Bradford City - Cardiff City to win

The top two teams in League One meet at the Cardiff City Stadium, as Cardiff City hosts Bradford City. The slight edge falls in the way of Cardiff City, who remain the only unbeaten side this season in League One, with five wins and two draws from their first seven matches. As for Bradford City, the Bantams will by no means be a pushover for any side, given their great start to life back in League One, but ultimately, Cardiff City should extend their run to 16 games without a defeat.

Doncaster Rovers vs AFC Wimbledon - Doncaster Rovers to win

Doncaster Rovers have made an impressive start to life back in League One, as Grant McCann’s side have picked up 16 points from their first eight matches. Doncaster Rovers have won five of their last six matches and have scored first in five of their last six games. AFC Wimbledon have been poor in the defensive areas, as the Dons have not kept a clean sheet in their last six matches in all competitions. Away from home, the visitors have lost their last three matches, conceding two or more goals in each of those defeats.

Newport County vs Gillingham - Gillingham to win

Newport County are in awful form, as their point away at Tranmere Rovers was their first point since their second game of the season, where they had beaten Crawley Town. The home side have lost four of their previous five league games, with also no clean sheets in their last 12. Gillingham are in excellent form under Gareth Ainsworth, as the visitors for this game are without a loss in their last seven matches, winning four of their previous five in League Two. The Gills have scored first in five of their previous six matches.
