LAFC to win the MLS Odds

Last year's Supporters' Shield winners have not quite hit the ground running yet this season. With two wins from their first six matches of the season, they are currently six points off the top spot in the Western Conference.

However, former Swansea manager Bob Bradley is capable of turning things around to help his team try and reach the play-offs for a third consecutive season. In their ranks, they have former Arsenal youngster Carlos Vela and new signing Bradley Wright-Phillips who is the record goalscorer for New York Red Bulls.

Regarding the club's run-in of fixtures, three of their remaining five fixtures favourably come against opposition currently lower than themselves in the table including fellow side from Los Angeles LA Galaxy, who have been performing surprisingly badly this season following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to AC Milan in January prior to the season beginning.

As well as LA Galaxy, LAFC will be going up against Seattle Sounders for a repeat of the Western Conference Final last year when Seattle won 3-1 before beating Toronto FC in the MLS Cup Final. The remainder of their fixture list, prior to the play-offs, is filled with three six-pointers against Real Salt Lake, Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes, all of whom are in a really close battle to claim a play-off position and in contention for a place in next year's Leagues Cup.

Since their first season in the MLS in 2018, LAFC do have a perfect record of eventually reaching the Playoffs where anything can happen but they will have to fight off tough competition before that.

Toronto to win the MLS odds

Last year's runners-up are putting themselves in contention of reaching the final of the MLS Cup once again, this time, of course, they will hope to go one better should they get there.

The club from Canada are the only team in the MLS to still be unbeaten having won four matches and drawing three. Despite being the only unbeaten team, they find themselves one point behind Columbus Crew who lead the pack in the Eastern Conference and the overall table.

In the games that remain, Toronto are all but guaranteed a place in the play-offs but the battle to try and claim their second Supporters' Shield has only just begun. In the Eastern Conference, the Reds are currently the highest scorers and have had six different goal scorers score their 13 goals so they have players capable of finding the net, something that is, of course, pivotal when it comes to winning matches.

With the club looking like they have not missed the potency of former Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco, who departed the club in prior to the 2019 season, this is a team that is capable to recreating the glory they achieved in 2017. The Reds have odds of 9/1 to go one better than they did last year.

Toronto to win the MLS is currently priced at 9/1 - click here to have this straight in your bet slip.

Seattle Sounders to win MLS odds

The current holders of the competition go into the final part of the season looking in good stead to continue their 100% record of qualifying for the play-offs since their debut MLS season in 2009.

The Western Conference remains very tight between the teams in second through to ninth with just four points separating the eight places. Those eight places could make the difference when it comes to qualifying for the play-offs followed by who each team will come up against in the first round.

Raul Ruidiaz has looked in fine form in front of goal with four goals in his six league appearances this season. The Peruvian international has been the club's top scorer in each of the previous two seasons since his arrival from Morelia.

The remaining matches prior to the play-offs do look winnable by the club's high standards. Wins against the likes of Real Salt Lake and the San Jose Earthquakes, both of whom are struggling to nail down a play-off place, should strengthen their bid for a second Conference win and Supporters' Shield as they try to catch up to Sporting Kansas City who are four points clear at the top ahead of Seattle.

Philadelphia Union to win MLS odds

A good start to the season for Philadelphia has meant that a place in the play-offs looks as if it is there's to lose going into the last few games of the season.

One problem, however, despite currently being in third place in the Eastern Conference with 12 points to their name, is that they are the lowest goalscorers out of the top five teams in the Conference. Kacper Przybylko, Union's target man, has failed to recapture the goalscoring form he had last season that saw Philadelphia as a team to be feared.

Added to the lack of goalscoring, some difficult matches await Philadelphia including trips to New York Red Bulls and Conference leaders, Columbus Crew. With this in mind, it is looking likely that Philadelphia will look back at their decent start and think that it was crucial for them if they are to land a Playoff place.

Although it is likely that they will reach the play-offs, the long odds suggest that they will face at least one overwhelming hurdle en route towards the final.

Atalanta to win MLS odds

A change of management was deemed to be required when, last month, former Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer left by mutual consent following the club's poor showing in the MLS is Back Tournament.

For now, former Newcastle midfielder and Scottish international Stephen Glass is taking interim charge at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and got off to the perfect start by beating Nashville 2-0.

Atlanta currently sit just outside the play-off positions and so need to make the most of their fixture run-in where they will face Nashville once again as well as two tough matches against Orlando City which could prove decisive in their hunt for the play-offs.

A lot of weight will certainly be on Glass' shoulders because of the club's successful recent history in the competition having qualified for the Playoffs in every season since 2017 and also becoming champions in 2018 in what was Newcastle star Miguel Almiron's final season at the club.

If Atlanta manage to have a happy honeymoon period under Glass, the odds for them to win their second MLS Cup will get slimmer in due course but Atlanta to win the MLS sits at 14/1 - click here to claim this bet.
